Hey guys! I'm Sam, and I had this idea to create a clothing brand called "Merchant Ski Co." a few years ago. Although we're just getting off the ground now, I'm excited to bring my design ideas to life.

What Does "Merchant" Mean?

My buddies and I over the last few years used the term "Merchant" to describe someone who is a master of their craft. For example, the picture below shows me on the East Wall at Arapahoe Basin, dropping into 2nd Notch. You could say, I'm an East Wall Merchant.

Our Philosophy

Just like being a master of your craft on the East Wall, we wanted to be masters of our materials. That's why we skipped the thin, itchy shirts for 7.6 oz heavyweight garment-dyed cotton that actually lasts.
